eLearning Africa 2009 will convene in Dakar, Senegal.

The hotel Le Méridien President in Dakar will be the conference venue for this year’s eLearning Africa. It is located at La Pointe des Almadies on the Cap—Vert Peninsula, which is the furthest westerly point on the continent of Africa. Surrounded by 35 hectares of green, it is one of the finest points in Dakar for a conference to take place. The hotel is approximately 5 km (10 minutes) from the airport and the centre of the city.

The conference centre of Le Méridien President has a capacity of 2,000 people, with a 650-delegate amphitheatre. There are plenty of conference rooms with a size variation, that can host all the different conference activities.
