

Berlin, Germany – eLearning Africa organiser ICWE, in cooperation with the ICT4D collective at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK, are undertaking a survey about eLearning in education in Africa.
The survey aims to identify current needs as well as the challenges regarding effective monitoring, evaluation and impact-assessment of technology-enhanced education on the ground. The questionnaire targets all those who are involved in the planning, implementation or evaluation of learning technologies in Africa.
The results will be published in a report by ICWE and also utilised in related doctoral research with the ICT4D Collective at Royal Holloway, University of London.

eLearing Africa, first held in 2006, is an annual conference that focuses on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for development, education and training in Africa. Its mission is to bring people together who are actively engaged in education and in the implementation of learning technologies in schools, universities, corporate training as well as in education in the public sector. Each year a different African country serves as the venue.
